Default Could It Be.....

I was just wondering if anyone had a take on this. I've been playing online poker for acouple of months now and noticed when I play more hands or increase the bet; that my next set of cards are better or playable hands. Meaning instead of getting J 2 or 3 5 cards I will get pairs or K 10, A 10 or Q J.

Just wondering if there is some truth to that and if anyone else notices this too. If its just coincidence I'd like to hear that side too.

Thanks.

I have never noticed that..Maybe it's a little winners streak in your games..I'm sure if you just kept doing it you wouldn't get those hands all the time..would b great if you did though..lol

No, I have not noticed that. But, some people tell me that they get their best hands just after they start on a ring table. I do not know if it is true, but i will watch.

I really think it is only what is called in psychology a "perception bias": i.e. you only selectively remember certain facts because they are "meaningful" relative to whatever you have in mind (or confirm some implicit idea that you have) and disregard the others.

HUMMM... 2's always live in my hand so I'll put it to a test and see if it works.
