what tables have you played
how do you get on in the poker lobby (easy,bit confusing)
have you tried the op66 tourneys
do you find the forum helpfull,or confusing

hi tel,great thread m8,its good 2 see sum1 taking time 2 try and welcome new members,im here just over a year and at the start i found it sumwot difficult 2 navigate my way round the lobby and forum.It takes a while but i got there and feel now like part of the crew.
Your thoughts on the welcome for new members is a good idea,i for 1(if it would help)would leave a welcome note on all new members pages explaining how 2 get around and generally helping as best as i can,is there sumwere 2 view all new members???not sure, but threads like this can only help

Tiger, all... if you click on the 'Members List' (two over from 'User CP'), and then click on the 'Join Date' link, you can sort the members... either from oldest to youngest, or in this case, reverse it, youngest to oldest... for example, just within the past 24 hours, more than 30 new members have joined.

The numbers are actually staggering at how many join OP66... the real question, and I believe Tel is on to something with his thread... a. Why don't they stay? b. Why don't they join the OP66 daily 4 major tournaments? c. Why don't they actively participate on the forum?

I can see that some would absolutely just prefer to come here for the poker, and that is perfectly fine. That being the case, it'd be great to see the numbers in the daily 4 majors vastly increase... in the long run, it WILL help the overall quality of play.

Yes, I started on the tables in late 2007, but didn't bother getting to the forum to activate chat until March, 2008 (my "forum" birthday).

Hi, i must admit its taken me a while to get to grips with the forum, im not sure why it seems harder than others, maybe as a suggestion we could have a "shout box" and/or "latest threads" box at the top or maybe a twitter account "op66".

GZinc... welcome... for "latest threads", the easiest button is the "New Posts" button... I think this is exactly what you are looking for.
