"Hot seat"

Hey, i'm a new player and i've been hearing mention of the "hot seat", where the player in the "hot seat" does really well. What exactly IS the hot seat? how do you "win" it?

Are you sure? because quite a few people seem to think that they've been in the hot seat and done really well because of that.

on any poker site your ever visit you will always see players that will hit a good run of luck (and the opersit for a bad run) but this is just part of poker luck will always be there
but to sagest it is down to the seat you are sitting on would sagest the poker skriped is riged to faver serten pepol and this just isn't the case i ask you WHY would a siat rig there poker skriped and risk closuer and a repertation of being riged when that can only make a profit buy players playing who wins is irelavent to tham as the rake comes from contius play not single wins

you might find a seat where you get good cards but its still down to you to play the cards. but it wont last for long. certainly wont last all day.

There are no hot seats on this site mate. If you look around the tables here I guarantee you won't see ANY seats let alone a hot one !!!!

i remember a mention of a seat where every hand was hitting on the flop. so players calling raises, were hitting with utter crap, (4/2 v A/A). 4/2 hitting full house, stuff like that. but just 1 of those things, no "hot seat", just a coincidence, just poker.....
