How to customize your forum avatar (screenshot included)

This is a walk through about how to customize your forum avatar

Forum avatar's are the images that appear next to a members username on thread posts and posts in member profile pages.
Attention These images are very small. No larger than 80 x 80 pixels or 19.5kb (whichever is smaller)



1. Open your "User CP"
2. Click "Edit avatar"
3a. If the image that you wish to use as your forum avatar is on your computer hard drive then click the "Browse" button. This will open up the files on your computer, find/select the image you desire and click "ok".
3b. Alternatively to step 3a,you can use a picture you have found whilst browsing the internet or have stored at a website like "photobucket". See the "Posting pictures on threads and member profile pages" part of this forum thread to find out how that is achieved. Uploading pictures then posting them on threads and member profile pages

Note. Make sure that the "Use custom avatar" button is checked before you select the "Save changes" button at the bottom of the page.

Your selected avatar should now appear in the "Your current avatar" box. Also it should be next to your username on every post you have made on the forum.

I think that there should be a section for this threads to be more accessible to new players. They are grate guides to modify your forum account. It took me some time to learn how to do this things by myself but I think that with something like this it would have been easier for me to understand.

Yes I know but I was really confused when I started to use the forum for example as you see there are 2 sections called General Discussion so I thought they were the same. Thats just an example of how I was at the beginning lol

go into options at the top of the table lobby, then display all options, then avatar tab, make sure you have the picture you want saved where you can find it. browse, upload and confirm if you like it
