You can join any tourney as long as you have the entry fee, just click on the table you want to sit at.

i havent been playing for long, and i havent entered any touneys yet. i think you need to be sure of the game before you do play, because remember, when you buy into a tourney those chips are gone unless you win. its different on the other tables, you can get up and take your stack with you. this of course is just my opinion, other people may think differently.

be lucky

I aint been near any tourneys yet, gotta get my confidence up as a player. Also, I dont think I could sit in front of the PC for hours & hours till it finished. On the table you can just come & go, if you get me

I strongly suggest the 1000 buyin mini tourneys for players. If your not an all in type of player, they are the tables for you. Be careful tho, there are alot of players that go all in from the start. I think you would probably be best to fold the first few hands and you will see who the all in players are. Most of the time they cannot win everytime by going all in. Just wait till they are gone, then start playing. If you think about it, the buyin is only 1000, same as the refresh chips, you dont really have much to lose. If you win, I think its 7500 or there abouts.
Good Luck.

VERY good advice Bassmaster

Even if you don't finish in the top 3, you can learn valuable lessons about playing hold-em and also learn the way others play. It can give you insight for the next tourney that you play in!

I personally havent entered any Tourneys as yet, but when i am a little bit more confident of my game i may do. I have spoken to other players who have though and they recommend it and THEY have won some good amounts of chips too lucky people!!

You may be surprised at how well you might do.. i have only been playing a couple of weeks and decided to take the plunge and try a tourney (i have since found i prefer tourneys).

Start with the smaller ones.. if you do okay at the normal table you will probly find you will do ok in the tourneys.

As they say "nothing ventured, nothing gained"

Good Luck
