Honestly though, waiting to play 2-3 good hands will get you pretty darn far in a lot of mini-tournaments.

Especially the smaller buy-ins for 10k and under.

Well Me Personally...i Play Cagey..i Play A Few Hands...bluff On 1 Or 2...i Never Play Properly Till I Get In Last 3...simply Because 2 Opponents Are Easyer To Beat Then 5 Or 8...lol..im Not Sayin I Have Played Bad Players...and Those That Have Played Me Know I Will Take My Time To Play..il Fold If I Have Nowt...and Yes Game Goes On And On...dont Be Rushed By All Ins Unless U Know U Will Win...play At Ur Own Pace...most Ppl That Rush Dont Last...its Long Term.and Patience That Sees Me Thru.....me Personally Dnt Care About Chips....i Want To Be In The Last 3 Simple As That...anton

That's not something i would do pat but if i have a good hand i hate folding it , so if someone goes all in i will call them especially if i have high pockets. Although I do prefer to see the pot build up until the river is shown

LOL - so much advice to follow! Try them all and see which suits you best. Then you will find the style that works best for you. And whatever it is ... if it works, stick with it!

I have a great idea, why don't all the newbies read all the advice in the newbies zone . Most of it is from the top 20 players on the site, Ring players and tournament players alike. Guess what 3 of them answered your questions here. I have no idea where you can get better advice.
