Hi, sorry if this is in the wrong place:

i have just made my account on here and the screen came up and said that my IP was detected as already having an account, but this is my first visit and the name that came up is not me is this normal?

Are you logging on from a shared resource such as an internet cafe of Library, or place of work ?

i'm on a mobile internet stick but i'm the only one with access to it. will this be a problem?

however i am still slightly worried about my IP address!! I have left a message for an active moderator and noticed (using the 'who's online' function) that moderation staff have seen my dilemma here, but I am still no wiser. When I log into the lobby, my account says IP detected as Emma M****** and duplicate accounts are not allowed, but this is not my name and having read site rules about these duplicate accounts I'm wondering if I am breaking rules unintentionally.
Could a moderator clarify that I am ok to play here in this instance? I would hate to be banished through no fault of my own.

Hi Molly and welcome.

As to the warning you get when you log in, in certain parts of the world the IP address that is presented is from the service provider, not your specific device. This can cause duplicated information initially. IP is one of the ways that your account is authenticated to try to avoid issues. As you visit this information will be consistently updated. If you do not have any other accounts, and no one else in your home is playing then there should be no issues. If by some instance your account is flagged as a multi account, simply respond to the message and it will be researched and cleared. If you will PM the other name that showed up, we can research it. As long as there are no other issues, there should be no reason for your account to be flagged.
