Hi, you can now be granted up to poker emperor by posting messages

Poker Newbie 0 post
Poker Apprentice 5 posts needed
Poker Player 20 posts needed
Poker Wizard 50 posts needed
Poker King 150 posts needed
Poker Emperor 500 posts needed

I don't know if the required volume of posts feels ok or not, I hope it is

Quite informative, I thought it would be due to tourney wins or somthing along those lines. Just posting messages ups your rank.

All the information is correct that the members provided. You can go to search and type in forum rankings or rankings, it will take you to the thread describing the different names and how you get the name.
Why the names you ask?
It was way back when the forum was first being started and an idea to get more members registered in the forum. I think it worked, don't you?

would have been better if you were ranked by the amount of hands you won or something but i geuss that would be a bit difficult to control.

Two questions from someone new to the site: After loging in on the home page, if I jump to the forum, I have to log in again. Why is that
AND
Is there any info on these board or on the site itself about the history of it: who started it, how fast has it grown, where is it based...like promo material I guess.....Just wondering

The reason4 2seperate log ins is coz its2different servers, keepin them seperate just helps run things mor smoothly(i think).
As 4the status under ya name, well thats just like BlackLava (founder,i think) says"2boost the popularity of the forum".
Not sure if there is a thread about OP66history but if i find1then i'll post the link4it here.
The playin side of the site has top lists2show who is the best, highest chip stack ect,mor lists will b added as the site is developed mor,so please b patient with that 1,BlackLava and his team r workin their butts off lol

Just found this lil snippit op66 memories...
