Non OP66ers

I'm not exactly a newbie (i've been here since the old script), but I have a "newbie question"... Is there a way to distinguish between an OP66er and a "non OP66er"? I mean sometimes it's obvious (home outside English speaking countries, lack of avatar, lack of chat, lack of skill), but is there a way to actually know that?

mmm i dont know m8 just to be known is to be an op66r in my opinion
and you fill that catagory
many players join op66 and we never know of them but those that chat and join in the op66 tourneys would soon be known and welcomed but again thats just my opinion
the players that chat on the forum and the tables are also soon well known by the regulars and are usualy allways welcomed
but to me anybody that makes an effort to integrate is an op66r to me
but as usual im drunk

I think, but could be wrong, if you hover over a non-OP66er it says where they are from but if you hover over an OP66er nothing happens.

True, the older OP66er's, GENERALLY, if you hover, you don't get a location. But the newer one's, GENERALLY, you do get a location. But as noted by Curb already, this does not distinguish some as being or not being OP66.

Often wondered the same thing.... but "hover" over mine and it will tell ya where I'm from..

a flash users location will not show up when you hover but a download user will show when you hover.

Again, a generalization, and again... not always true... there are many DL users who will not have their location show... as I mentioned in an earlier post, one pattern that I have seen is that newer OP players will have their locations show... older players will not. Must've been something in the early set up days that carried through on one of the script migrations.

Non-OP players, I find, will almost always have their location show.

I started playing on this site 3 years ago (old script) using flash. My location details didn't show up then, but since I've started using the download version, my details show up when I hover my cursor over my username. Recently I was surprised when I was asked by a OP66 'older player' - where was I from? They couldn't see my location details? So in answering the OP's question, I don't have a clue as to how to differentiate between OP66 and non-OP66 players, but I don't think it has anything to do with locations shown.

I mean that's what I was originally saying. They tend to be from foreign worlds. They don't/can't chat. They have no avatars. And they are donks. But someone could technically fit those criteria and still be an OP66er.

i thought it only showed your location if you joined the real money side,could be wrong though

when i play the ring tables and i get a crazy player i check the members list to see if he or she is from here. but usually the players from other sites never chat..

edit>> an op66 player can also be from another site.
