Nut Flush?

Can anybody tell me what exactly a nut flush is? i've seen the term in a few places, but couldnt figure out what makes it different from a regular flush.

when someone says the nuts that means you have the best hole cards, meaning you have the cards that make the best hand on the table.

When I hear that someone has the 'nut' flush, it means that no other flush can beat their hand. You either have the ace for the flush, or if the ace is on the board, you have the king, and so on.

as well as nut flush, you will also hear nut straight which obviously means the best possible straight out there. also there is the "mortal nuts" which describes when you have pocket aces before the flop, you are holding the mortal nuts, the best possible 2 card hand there is

That's good to know. i'd never heard of a nut straight or mortal nuts, but now i know. if i'd known, maybe i woulda gone with the name "mortalnuts" over "kamelballz" hehe thx guys
