| Depends what style of play u trying. Jman is right if all u are trying to play tight. Q 7 Suited i would have alook at as long as the amount to call is low.Remember though that if a flush comes u still can b beaten. In reply to ur king queen question u are doing the right thing. Raise 2 to three times the big blind when u get hands like aa kk qq jj aks kqs etc.Make sure u r watching how others bet though cause they may have good hands to. Sometimes to mix it up i dont raise and try to play a traping hand. This depends on how the cards flop though. Make sure u mix ur game up though cause good players will work u out if u do the same all the time. Hope this helps a little. |

| I agree with rusty, I just want to add a little more info. Always remember what position you are in at the table, the reason for this is, if you are in early position and raise most players will assume you have a strong hand. If you are in late position you will have more information and have a better idea of what to do. Also with a hand like KQs you want to get the limpers out of the hand, it will narrow the field, and you will gain information on the players that call you. |
