On this site, and indeed real life, I think you've got two types of poker players. One that will predominantly play cash games, and the person who plays the sit and go/MTT. So really weather or not you can make a lot is matter of A) opinion and B) your style of play. If you want to make millions I'd say play cash games, but beware of similarly losing millions. However if you want to make a fair bit and you prefer a longer game then I'd say stick to tournaments (MTT) and sit and goes. in a 6 seater sit and go you'll get paid roughly 66% of the prize pool (accumulated buy ins) for first and 33% for second. In a ten seater You'll get 50% for first 30% for second and 20% for 3rd( I think!!) So say its a 100k buy in 10 seats: - 1st - 2nd - 3rd ----------500k - 300k - 200k 6 seats: - 1st - 2nd --------- 400k - 200k (I'm not completely sure so don't take that as gospel but its a rough idea) Hope that helps ![]()

| hey A sit and go is basicly a one table tourney. here we have 6 and 10 seaters, you take your seat by paying the buy in, and once all seats are filled the game starts ![]()
