I just notice That a player had 5 stars over his name & another had 1 star. What with the stars ?

Its a new rating system, if you right click on someones avatar you can click on rate them, this will let you give them stars on how well you think there play is, and people can do the for you ..

i mean, how r u supposed to rate a player? In comparison to yourself? - so then, if u rate them 4 or 5 star, they are better than u, yeah?

bullocks, rate me 0 for all i care, stars should be awarded for statistical merit, and not be from the opinions of other players, who may well be friends of yours..

Question is how do you get your stars removed,blocked or what have you.Is there an acceptance box to check?IMO its a flimsy system of rating.

The system is a load of rubbish can you block being graded? As a tournie player the system already gives you stats. You are also free to write your own notes about a player.

You dont see many professional poker players going round with stars over their heads I thought one of the aims of the site was to make the poker as realistic as possible?

Plus it could turn into another form of bullying, nepotism etc just plain stupid.

I think it just makes you a target but does not really reflect how you play the game
go back to just using "player notes"...we have for ages and we seem to have been able to survive

the stars dont mean anything.. i just saw a player on a table with 5 stars and i have notes on him saying that he called my 4 bet for basicly all his stack with 5-6 pre flop when i had KK.

a 5 star player would do this then??? dont think so! lol

i cant find that hand in my hand history but i wish i could to prove that the stars dont mean jack! lol

So if I understand this correctly..we have no idea who gave the stars to any particular player but we're supposed to believe that they're a good player if they have 5 stars? All I can say is.........nope...... words fail me for once.......

I just tried earlier to put a star on a players head and it didn't work.But I did find, when I right-clicked on the players name that there's a thing called 'player tagging'which turns the players name different colours when you click it.So now, if we had a way of putting a few ribbons on too,we could decorate other players to look like a christmas tree fairy lol.

Well the tagging does makes sense, because that is just your judgement on a player.
