Default Tips on saving your chips..

I have a tip for any newbies who are just starting out playing poker.

Over the period of time i have been playing mini tornys (about 3 weeks) i have got wise to potential high bet placements made by other players and i just want to share my tips on how notice when this might happen so you dont place your blind bet before they place a high bet you are not willing to match.

I have notice that sometimes when a player is low on chips they may edge their chances and place an all in bet before the flop has been dealt. So for instance if you are sat at the table whereby you are required to post a blind before the player who has a low amount of chips (70 say) just fold and see what they do. Oftern or not they will post and all in bet. Let the other players match his bet and sit back an wait.

In the past i have posted a blind then seen a player with a low amount post an all bet and when it come round to me to bet ive not had the hand strong enough to match the bet so have folded. Loosing my posted blind bet. Your chips can easly dribble away by making un-necessary bets such as that.

Hope that helps. thx.

Something you can do to to save chips and make sure you dont lose much is; when you are playing at a table and you are winning more than what you enter with go out and come back in with the minimum amount. This way all your winning stay in your bank and you dont end up lossing all your winning. For the new players try mini tourney and learn how to last in the game this way at least you get third and you can win more than in some other tables.

Same here , on a Ring table you can only win the amount that is brought to the table, but there is always an extra amount added to the buy in for both mini & big tourneys, thus increasing your chance of adding to your bankroll.
