So I try to only play primo hands, right? But it seems that sometimes when I junk what appears to be a bad hand, I miss out on the huge (at least for my level) winnings.
A couple of examples:
A few days ago I fold some terrible hand pre-flop, somebody starts betting at 102 and nearly everybody calls/checks... when the hand's over, I coulda made a straight and the best hand anybody has is Ace High!!
Earlier today I sat on the 10 seat newbie table with one other guy, played loose to get some action going and more people to sit down... a few more people sit down so I try to play tight. I've got J3s, flop comes, J and maybe 3 5 or something. I've already lost quite a bit so I fold when somebody raises 225, although everybody else checks. Anyway, long story short, somebody won 4060 with two pair when a J came on the turn and I coulda had three of a kind... Oh woe is me! (Then I thought my luck had changed when I made a straight but went broke when my opponent had a full house

)
Any advice on how to deal with such frustration? Aside from ranting in the forums, that is...

I could just not look at the game being played out, but I like to as it helps in trying to analyse my opponents.
