Default What does buy-in mean?

Hi,

I was wondering what buy-in means? is this what you have to pay to join in?

I also noticed on the tables that some say 1k and others says 10k bankroll, what does this mean?

Buy-in is just that, how many chips you have to pay to join that table or tournament.

I believe bankroll refers to tables where you can't have more than the amount of chips stated. For instance the Newbies2 (10k max) table, you can't play on that table if there are morer than 10,000 chips in your bankroll. If you get caught with more chips than you are supposed to have you will get a warning to leave the table, and if you don't you will get your chips reduced to the amount stated, i.e. 10,000. Hope that helps.

The higher the buy-in the higher the prize
