i was at my daughters daycare, it was right next to the FAA center that monitored the planes. i remember the one lady there, i think it was her husband worked at the FAA. she came in and said that "we" lost a plane and then very shortly after said they lost another. i left for work and listened to the radio in shock like so many, not just in the USA, but all around the world. the work place was quiet, while everyone just listened as they worked. i received a call from the daycare center, they evacuated to a hotel for precaution, because it was right next to the FAA center and no one really knew what was really going to happen. i picked up my daughter from daycare and watched on tv , all that devastation, it was unthinkable , still is............

R.I.P.....my thoughts to all those that lost their lives in the atrocity itself, and to the brave servicemen and women who died in saving others so that they could live.
I visited the New WTC when i visited NewYork recently, the local church and the 9/11 musuem too..... i was amazed at the over-whelming feeling of grief i still felt after 10years, and the utter amazement of what had happened that hit me while looking at, and reading, the messages of condolences and tributes that have been left from all over the USA and indeed the world.
My thoughts and prayers to those that have lost people, but especially to the hundreds of children who have now reached the grand age of 10yrs without the love of a parent because they were so wickedly taken away from them.

I Still remember like it was yesterday. I still have great sadness seeing the images from that day.
I remember when I was a child, I went to the top of the WTC. Seeing the towers fall was unbearable to me. My heart was broken.
My thoughts and prayers to all the victims and their families.
So many fallen heroes.

i remember bunking off from college, got home and thought why on earth is my brother watching the news. couldnt believe what i was watching as i saw replays of the planes hitting. remember thinking to myself at least the people below the impact will be able to get out. at that point the first tower collapsed. i dont think i will ever get the image of the people jumping out of my mind.

god awful day

Terrible, unbelievable, unforgettable. R.I.P to all who left us that day, very best wishes to anyone personally affected by that tragedy.

I just watched the remembrance ceremony at the Shay stadium before the Mets v White Sox baseball game, it was very touching indeed.
