i agree, but i dont see it as begging i see it asking for a helping hand, any of my friends know i'll give em credits when ever they want so there really is no need for the threads

lol. i posted one of those as a facetious response to all the other begging threads, i made it so obviously a spoof thread by including the script of the alms for an ex-leper scene from the life of brian and by "only" asking for 5,000,000 forum credits so i could buy my way into the top chiplist and change my poker ranking. 2 people where kind enough to donate 25,000 creds though, and as you can see are still in my credits account. thanks again guys.
i'm perfectly happy for the mods to delete mine. you're right coll, begging credits to play needs to be discouraged, its one thing to tap some credits off one of your friends privately via pm but openly begging on the forum is a bit tacky.

I agree, would be nice if it was kept more in asking people ya know via pms or whatever then countless threads but it is a forum lol. Oh god I know Wood lol I was on that table at one point too and man some are just relentless, literally sitting there asking for hours when they could be playing poker earning chips. It gets a bit annoying especially with what we are seeing at the big tables is people coming in from the starting tables asking us time and time again lol. Most of the time it ends up being strangers not friends, I have no problem helping a friend when I can but always being asked my strangers gets a bit much imo.

tht dude is mad..i heard he was givin chips fron 2 players and he came bk an hour later and asked for 250k so he could sit at the table

i dnt hav a problem givin good players who hav had a bad week or m8s on here credits but not players who i do not know or who go all in just coz they hav credis

It doesn't matter to me if the beggers are here or on the street corner. It's a fact of life that there are beggers everywhere. If someone wants to donate, that's their business, if nobody does, the thread vanishes in time into the pages of old in the forum.

why dont some of the mods on here organize a daily game in the forums, where you would count down say... from 100 or something..till who ever got to post the last post (being 1) would win.. and the winner would recieve say 30,000 credits which then could be exchanged for chips...
and in doing that they could then ban anything to do with begging,
also make it that you can only post twice in each of these games,
anyhow its just an idea

have no probs with lending folk i know and like, but some folk have short memories, 1 was disrepectful a while back and then asked for chips, forgetting all this so i politely told him no, lol
