Assuming that you were attempting to remain on the topic of this thread, you should have reversed those phrases.

Best thing = you don't want to get banned
Worst thing = You could go on forever


For me, on this, my ONE YEAR ANNIVERSARY as a member of OP66, I would have to say:

Best thing = The opportunity to learn and play a game that I enjoy, and to chat with people from around the world.

Worst thing = Trying to make everybody understand that this is a site for everybody, and that in order to make that work, there must be rules. It seems that there are some people who are always testing the limits to see how far they can push, bend, and break the rules, and then are surprised, and sometimes angered when consequences are dealt. Stay clear of the boundaries between right and wrong, it would make my task much easier, and I could get back to playing poker on poker site.

The best thing about this site is the people. I have made so many new friends, love the aussies. Whoop Whoop.

The worst thing about this site would be the credit system as it is layed out right now. As has been beat to death many times, some get so many for the same thing and some get 10. Also not really having a lot of freedom to do as you please. That can get annoying as most of us are adults here and many times treated like were five year olds imo. Also the double standards that happen a lot.

The best thing is (of course) the people and the laughs. The worst thing is the time it takes to get a sit'n'go sittin and goin.

gotta agree with loveschips on the credit system. For me , i think it is the worst possible thing to happen to this site to date. my reasons are as follows:
-first, it degrades the poker being played and encourages the 'all-in' crowd. we already get 3 reloads per day, that should be more than enough 'chances' for learners and beginners to play with and learn the game, IF they are careful and treat the game with respect. I know, that's a BIG 'if', but, again,, without the extra 'free chips' the credits provide, there would be less incentive to play so wildly,
-second, I believe that the credit system has , to put it mildly, fouled, the forums. because of the relative 'value' of creds, the forums have really been altered and littered with excessive garbage and useless posts from members desperately seeking more creds in order to convert to either chips or for use in the RPG game.
-third, and truly, this is the issue most dear to my soul and rankles me the most, is the apparent disparity between the relative cred value of different members. I could go on and on about this, as been discussed in many other posts, but it just doesnt make sense. and the lack of any explanation by admin. is even more disturbing, especially when you consider my first two points.
for instance if you consider that 1 cred =10 chips. follow me here. some people are getting 10 cred per post while others are getting 1,000 ( yes, one thousand) or more, then that translate to:

-100 chips per post for SOME ( meaning they have to make at least 10 posts to make the minimum for conversion, even MORE encouragment for spam and useless posts)
-10,000 chips for others.
( gahh, i hope my math is right )

but the best thing, I must say though,and i think this will be most people's response here, is the people themselves here, ... the community that exists and the relationships that have been built. I STILL marvel, seeing this place grow from its infancy, how many different folks we get here and how we, all of us, from so many different cultures, nations, economies and religions have come together here simply to play poker, and have learned, essentially, to get along. We've learned from each other, helped each other, laughed and cried with each other,. all though this portal and shared enjoyment of this game and this site. it still amazes me, after playing here every nite for over a year, how simply COOL it is to be at a table, at the same tme, with someone from singapore, denmark, england africa and australia, .. completely across the other side of the world from me, but here we are, playing cards and laughing like we're old pals.

the best thing is the people, players and mods. i have a good crack with people in the forum and on the tables, i get nice pics and posts on my profile.
the worst thing is still the dreaded lag, i can never get over being folded out of winning hands because the server is running so slow it can't manage your bets and raises intime.
