 CHAMPIONS!!! (non-poker related) hey all, i'm happy to report that myself and my step dad, nige, won the local district pool doubles league final 3-0 last night XD we managed to not concede a single frame over the 4 out of 5 matches we played in the tournament (one team withdrew), including a semi-final 6-0-walk over against bri davidson and paul duckett (gud playas) we da best baby yeah!  it was my first ever pool competition final, so to win (and at my age too) was truly special  awards ceremony is the 29th of July at my local (Brooke Arms)!!! and i'll put pics of me trophy up here asap I'M OVER THE DUCKIN' MOON WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOP!!!    kwak EDIT: forgot to mention, i wasn't as successful in the singles tournament, losing 1-3 in the quarter finals against a very tight player on a very tight table that i absolutely hated lmao, nige lost int 2nd round  Last edited by Quackers; 07-10-2009 at 04:33 PM..    |
