Credits?

JUST A QUESTION, I LOOKED AROUND AND COULD NOT FIND AN ANSWER TO THIS.. WHAT EXACTLY ARE THE CREDITS USED FOR OTHER THAN OUTLAWS? THEY HOLD NO VALUE AS FAR AS CHIPS VALUE, I MEAN YOU CANT CONVERT THEM INTO ANYTHING CAN YOU? OR IS THERE SOMETHING IN THE WORKS FOR THEM IN THE FUTURE?? HMMMMMMMMM.... I MEAN THEY ARE FUN TO PLACE SIDE BETS WITH AND AWARDS AND STUFF, BUT IS THERE ANY THING OTHER THAN THAT IN THE WORKS FOR THE FUTURE? (THIS IS ONLY A QUESTION AND I AM IN NO WAY TRYING TO STIR SOMETHING UP) THANKYOU ALL FOR YOUR TIME.

I thought you could convert them into chips. I sure hope you still can. oh gosh, as quick as I'm going through my little play chips, I will need to convert.... I hope we get an answer.

credit convertor has been removed as we now have unlimited reloads (1k chips) for when you run out. maybe lava has something up his sleeve to use them for but right now there is just outlaws

I hate bingo.....so how in the heck do you get in the tourneys w/ 1k?

originally credits were just forum based, you earnt them for posting on the forum.
at that time alot of people used the star rating for threads, so if you posted a good thread and got stars(rate this thread) then you earnt more credits.

then the convertor was introduced, so you could convert credits into chips, however since then outlaws had been started, and you could earn loads of credits by just dealing and then convert them in to chips

now we are on a network that currently has unlimited re-buys to 1K chips.

due to that,and outlaws it was thought best to remove the converter.

however, sure lava has idea's up his sleeve for credits again, so watch this space(not to convert to chips tho)

also now you can bet them with jimmy the bookie, and another few games that appear from time to time on the forum

i seem to remember, at the time they were first introduced, the mention of credits being used ( as ONE eventuality ) for prizes/giveways/contests... even discounts on buying T-shirts.
anyone else remember that far back?
probably not a bad idea to look into SOME other alternative for their use, tho. They are, as others mentioned, essentially useless outside of the RPG game.

yes mrcool, i remember that also, but now you could get prizes for dealing in outlaws , as that idea was pre outlaws.

also was mention of discounts for t/shirts with creds i think.

as i said, sure lava is looking at re vamping the credits thing

OMG......I sure hope Lava brings back the converter. Wished now I had just coveted my credits before script change. I have lost a ton falling into the BINGO trap!!!! Oh well......

they are a waste of time unless you play outlaws
you used to be able to aviod all the bingo tables
by converting into chips but not now
