The end of year is here

Well as you all know, the end of the year here. What are you most thankful for.
I am most thankful for my family and friends here on
OP66. We've shared laughs, excitment, maddness, saddness and sometimes even shed a few tears. But, without these things this would be just another site. That is why this is my second family and that is what I am thankful for.

To reflect upon the year and give thanks to specific things is really a harder task that one can perceive.

I give thanks firstly to my alarm clock for waking me up every morning, as without it i'd probably have missed a lot of important stuff

I give thanks to my elder sis for being the only one in my family I can rely on to give sound, unbiased advice (the latter point more important IMO) whenever I needed it (thanks sis )

I will actually thank myself whilst at it (here we go) for enduring through hard times and awkward ones too...I could easily have crumbled, but didn't

I also would like to thank all those who have had the sense to stay here at op66.....as why the hell would anyone have a good reason to leave?

Bad poker? You get that on every site

Abusive players? You get that on every site

Tech problems? You get that on every site, albeit some to much lesser extents

Many of us play to have fun why should silly little issues that don't mean life nor death change that?

I would also like to thank everyone who ever reads other people's posts and comments in positive ways, without bigotry or belittlement or derogation. You guys are the sites biggest assets, you all know who you are, and we wish that you wouldn't leave us. (I refer to no-one in particular when I say this)

And oh yeah, thank you MODS for putting up with us rambunctious lot your service and loyalty to op66 is unparalelled

I also thank all who actually read all this without yawning, or thinking

Isn't it amazing that all that is best about this site is wrapped up in the feathers of a little duck Kwak!

Congratulations Ducks for getting to Uni and wish you all the best for the future.(honestly thought you were a lot older, wise head on young shoulders not to be kwacked at lol).

I often talk about "hubby" but to be honest he is my rock and I love him to pieces. He is there in the good times and in the bad, we have laughed and we have cried but always had that sense of optimism with us.

This site is amazing, I have looked at others, some made me shudder ( no names ) some just don't have the appeal that comes from seeing that table pop up when you log-in.

So perhaps, all woes and troubles aside, we could raise a glass to the person who had this terrific idea and saw it through and to the great support staff, mods and technical support who try to keep us online and inline throughout the year. My thanks to you, for without this site and the poker, geeze I would be knitting!

Well ive had a rough year.i lost my sis in march and all the bad stuff with smithy is still on going.i thank my partner for putting up with me and most of all i thank my son and his girl for giving me a gawjus grand daughter.im also thanful that christmas comes only once a year
