Poll could have two more options: it varies, or none.

For me is is very basic. When I am on a good streak with one suite, I have a tendancy to feel good when I have suited cards of the same kind. And it does vary.

I don't know if you have the same general symbolism associated in the anglo saxon world and if it influences your perception. So in short:

Hearts: Feelings (obvious) but also spirituality & kinship

Diamonds: (an arrow in the french original game, the suits come from frenche decks): movement - communication - energy - aims

Spades: power - law - action - crafts

Clubs: Money - talisman (protection)

hearts for me because they are the only hand I seem to get flushes in, and both of my straight flushes were hearts

hearts has got to be the best!! after all a heart makes you fall in love, a diamond cements this love, a club is used to kill your cheating partner, and a spade is used to bury him x x x
