I have never watched Titanic and never will...

Hadnt watched the movie Driver till recently...thought I'd never watch it...and wow was I wrong, what a movie!

wow you beat me. Also have never seen scarface.

now the never will part is different for me. I'll watch anything. Even Sex and the City (but I have to be pretty stoned or something for that one)

I watched some of Jaws last night,now that would impress me if no one has seen...

saw how some of it was made when i went to california studios and a few clips, but thats it, never watched even half of it.

The exorcist is over hyped, it's an ok movie, but not really scary as a lot of people think.
Scarface (Al Pacino version) is in my top 50 all time films. The violence is psychological, you don't see any wounding in the chainsaw scene for example.

True, but you have to take into account that when this film came out, swearing was strictly forbidden and never seen before in movies.
As for the scary factor, nowadays its probably not scary as we've been more used to seeing gore, blood and what not. We've been desensitised in a way.

the exorcist is now very dated, along with the texas chain saw massacre. i dont see why they were ever banned

Oh for sure we've become desensitised, when Jaws was released in '76 it was X rated (over 18), now it's a PG (suitable for kids)

One film I've been debating about watching for years is Salo the 120 days of sodom. Nearly every one who has watched it say it's by far the most disturbing film they've seen, and most never watch it more than once.

the wife and i rented a movie called "The Seed". wife made it thru the intro credits. i made it about 5 minutes into the film and couldnt do any more. have no desire to see the rest. and honestly the film should be banned from the earth. (all this based on the first 5 minutes). dont watch it if u cant handle human atrocities, animal cruelty, killing babies and so many other sick demented horrible things. too many reasons to list. 5 minutes. lol.
