lol. my own home river, under-rated, one of the best rivers in the country for trout and salmon now. i do a little bit of fishing now and again but i dont really have the patience for it. i got some nice fresh cod from some random scousers fishing off alnmouth beach in northumberland when i was camping, gutted n cooked it there n then it was lovely.
my mates just bought a boat recently n im ganna go out with them sometime soon, they pulled about 30 mackerel last weekend so we had a big barbie on the beach when they came in.

I love fishing. I have a 3 acre pond at the end of my property that is filled with big bass and catfish. Biggest fish ive ever caught though was a 120lbs sting ray in tomales bay.

I grew up fishing on the River Murray in South Australia....catching Callop (silver bream) and that useless carp....we used to chuck the carp in a pile and watch the hawks and bull ants fight over them...

Best fish i caught was a Murray Cod at Lake Mulwala in NSW wasn't huge, as the min to keep is 75cm, but it was my first....

My pardner took me fishing in Nottingham for a week when I retired (I am now 60 years Young...lol)
and I loved it I have never been fishing before and since then I have now been 4 times and next week I am going over to York for a whole week of fishing in a lodge that looks over a lake. We fish for Carp, Bream and my best catch was a 10lb golden carp but he says I am now doing better than he is...lolHe is now missing his pole....
