This is all to funny. My dad worked at Hormels years ago and was part of the process in making Spam. He always joked if you knew what was in it you won't eat it. He actually said its made with some of the best cuts of pork and it's just the gelatin that bugs people.

When i was in the army our ration packs had a tin which just had meat written on it .It had the same texture as spam except it was grey in colour.Always swopped mine with my mate for his chocolate oats.I think i got the better end of the deal!
