Hello fellow OP peeps both old and new!

I am writing this note to you all and hope that you all take the time to read it! It is not long but to the point.

I will not be naming anyone as that does not suffice my point.

I was made aware of this site durning the summer of 2008 from a friend of mine that some of you might remember. His name on here was Mazaska. Maz bought me a cuppa coffee one day and he introduced me to OP. It was the old script, the one that I hear was so delicate, so out of balance yet so in balance with fun and laughter. One that the complaints were about lag and folded hands due to the lag. About waiting to put yourself in line for the next SNG. The dreaded tax on your play chips, the top list for different catagories. The table talk was still table talk, not a lot of substance but you could tell that the people from diffent countries and continents all respected each other and there opinions. He told me that right before the script changed, a record number of OP'ers were online and it was difficult to find an open seat at a table. I then joined about a month after the old script changed to what I believe was Pitbull but I am not sure.
He had told me that there are groups on OP that tend to themselves but they would let you in on there private talk if you could just ease into the group. He told me not to be pushie, be yourself and you will fit in with all walks of life on OP. There were no hostilities that he could remember between players as I explained to him what has happened this past 2, 3 6 months on here.

I to feel that I have gotten the cold shoulder from a few as I have not taken a side on any matter. I refuse to do that as I can and will be friends to both sides.

Recently, I started a thread about 1.5 weeks ago complaining about an individual who tricked the table for a few hands of saying they needed to leave but didn't. I want to apologise to that player if I sent you any ill will your way. I also want to apologise to Dreamalot who I called and complained about said player. He as a true gent and friend defended my so called issues and to his chagrin was beatup upon a little from the forum members. He is gone form OP now without a computer and has no idea that I am writing this. I am so sorry I got you in the middle of this and I hope you accept my apology when you do read this.

This thread is not for Dream nor is this apology for Dream and the other player not mentioned but is for all who had to read that thread and now reading this.

You have my word and promise that I will not go after another player even to defend myself if I am a target of angst as that will only perpetuate (is there spell check on here?) the problem even more. I will let those words that might hurt me slide right off and chalk it up to a bad day. I don't like one of my neighbors and what they stand for but they have their rights and opinion just as I do. I don't attack them, why should I here?

I challenge all of you to do the same, drop the hatchet, wave the white flag, be good citizens as you would be in your real world.

Well Said, and yes you can download IeSpell and it will activate the spell checker options in the forum, but no matter what the spelling, the message should be loud and clear.

Well said Tasha I usually don't feel a need to defend myself but I do speak up sometimes when I feel someone is getting picked on bullied or verbally abused But either way you said it perfectly

Another great thread. I am one of the ones that enjoyed your last thread. I saw it as a resonable frusteration over someones play and you venting that frusteration, healthy if you ask me. but I get your point ;-) --- Now, about why I wanted to comment on THIS thread .... I am an older guy
(50) and have a hard time reading these long thread, I usually need a nap once I finish a lengthy writting like your's or Sharron123's --- please please please for the sake of us older folks, keep them to 100 words or less - haha

Awesome thread Tasha! I accept that challenge. Just because someone make a negative comments or statements, bully u verbally and talk to u harshly don't mean we always have to respond. Ive learned that's it's best not to say anything but u know if I did, I will always be so quick to apologize. Some ppl just like nick picking and talking about u to other people. They get off on that and some just can't help themselves...that's just who they are. So you even learn to deal with it or hey, put them on BLOCK! As for me, I have limited myself to OP66 because of cliques, hurtful unapologetic people and bullies. I hate it wen someone can see what u do wrong and don't want to hear nothing you got to say right or wrong, but they turn a blind eye to the wrong doings of their "friends" or whoeva. I was always taught by my parents; right is right and wrong is wrong, and to never take sides of any wrong doing if it's gona hurt someone. Because you reap what you sow. It's all childish and I'm too old for that and my health means more to me than any poker or what any of these ppl think or say about me. I have always stood up for myself; but now I'm just tired. Never seen so many hurtful people in one place. I pray things work out for you. I made promises to myself in this new year. ..... If you stir up mess, it will stink. Thanks Tasha for this thread. I want to thank all who posted to this thread and those who read it but didn't post as well.

As you can see from the above posts, people basically want to be good but with today's stress of keeping your head above water and food on the table and the mortgage paid, I think people thrash out at people a little to quickly. We all need to sit back and look at what just happened and determine what your next appropriate step is and weigh it's effects on yourself. As stated above, my actions are to brush it off. Heck, its a virtual world, as far as you know, I might be a 210 pound man that is 76 years old! LOL no comments needed from the peanut gallery!

Lets all be better stewards of this site, lets all tell the mods thanks for what they do for us when you see them play or on the forum, let by gones be by gones! I challenge you all to this!

I just wanna add this...I never have came across one mean person on here personally except for one...and I'm a very forgivin' person, but never got an apology so...I just ignore that one...but when ya think 'bout one out of many...hey that anit too bad...but anyhow...I think the world of my OP66 family and friends..As far as I know I have always tried to be kind to everyone that has crossed my path...And just think everyone should treat others as ya would have 'em treat you. However not everyone is gonna get along doesn't happen on the outside world and isn't gonna happen here either...but if ya don't have nothin' nice to say here...shhhh don't say nothin' at all. .... Thank you ,"Cookie" for the apology, this has been getting a lot of people upset and by coming clean, stepping up to the plate shows a kind caring and good hearted man you are . Though I believe you should have known better. This may sound harsh but I feel that the apology is too little too late ,its hurtful still after the cookies gone.Forgiveness from members is always there, as we’re all friends here, but the truth is out and an upset member shouldn't had to be forced to stand up to this alone with what she said happened and the destruction that followed by denial or we say not the truth and evidence destroyed, I for one who loves this site don't support the way in which you all handled this,thanks for having what it took to explain why which is hurtful enough,also I wholeheartedly wish you all the best and you'll always find a cookie in the jar for you from friends no matter what.
