I would like some medals ... paying for them :)

As most of you know I have taken it upon myself to give people pictures of medals when they earn them in OP66 tourneys , as a way of making them feel special
Now I have been doing this for some months but ever since the idea of some designed medals ( started by knickers I think ) came up , it has been on my mind . Also now that I can afford it , I would like to open a competition for people to design some medals for me .....
My idea was for there to be a specific design for each tournament to somehow represent its name .... ie .......

Wombats ..... a wombat wearing a medal ....

Hetmans ..... a russian cossack wearing a medal .....

British Crown ...... Crown Jewels with a medal draped over .....

NY Times ....... A rolled up copy of The New York Times ..... with a medal around it ....

The Mammoth ....... a mammoth with a medal around it's neck ..... ( zsazsa I think , had a good one )

Now these were just my rough thoughts but if you have better ones please feel free to try them . Now you would need to actually design 3 variations of the picture .... as I need each one to have a Gold , Silver and Bronze medal on it

There is also another category of medals I would like designed , and that is the 4th place medals I give out ..... now these can be in whatever form you like ..... but I require 5 of them ....... one designated for each of the 5 OP66 tourneys ( and representative of each )

I will be offering 250 000 credits to the winner of each category

Wombats
Hetmans
British Crown
NY Times
The Mammoth
4th place medals

I am probably looking at pictures that are around 300 x 350 as far as size but all entries will be considered .... and in whatever format is acceptable on this site ..... jpg are good
I will keep the competition open until the end of April

Put in / send me as many entries as you like ... the more the merrier and you have a month to play around and experiment

Sigh .... well I hoped I would be getting a better response ......
The competition got me excited at least ..... there was a new range of 4th medals that I made









these have gone out to a few people ........ but these were not exciting enough I felt ...... so after a lot of searching and a fair bit of work I have eventually come up with a medal I am happy with ...... this is not to say that the 4th medal part of the competition is over .... because its not ..... I was just on a mission .... here is an example of what you can achieve through searching and the tools available on photobucket .....











I am really happy with the way these turned out .... and I hope the recipients are also ..... as these have started circulation as of 03/04 .........

Cool ... like the background image ..... was thinking of doing a series of fourths like the british bulldog one I did for British Crown ...... an animal from each .... the bulldog ..... the eagle ( w US flag ) .... wombat / kangaroo ( w Aus flag ) ...... and ...... dunno ...... bear ? ( w russian flag ? ) lol

But yes N0one ... like the idea , and I need a set remember ....... you have to the end of the month to play around with things ... thanks .... Pete

thanks ill try to make the rest , but its late at night and i will probably have the entire set finnished on the weekend,


Does it have to include Silver bronze and 4th on the same image , or should i make each position a different image?

4th is a seperate category but you can supply one if you like .... and is entirely up to you what you whether you use the same image .... experiment ... you have plenty of time and you will find that the more you do the easier it becomes and the better you can make them , anyhow .... have fun .... KingPete,you are such a star.Great thread .Unbelievable brilliant medals.Im absolutly loving the Mammoth ones,they are fantastic.
I wish i could do some for you but ive not realy got a clue where to start,i havent got a good piece image editing of software,and no idea how you did the Mammoth Gold or Mammoth Bronze.Give me a clue lol
