The forum is boring!

Probably just me but for the few months I have been here, it seems like nobody cares, people talked out of both sides of there mouths etc. Maybe people like to start a little controversy-thats fine but not at my expense.

I have written a thread before about how people at the table are not polite as there were just since September.

Maybe all the good people have left-this should get a reaction lol.

I am taking an extended break from here as many of you will say good ridence.

Bye to the nice people here and even to the not so nice.

It may appear directed at you, it's not, it is OP as a whole. There are 13,14.....30 real nice people here. It is the same people day after day.

Yes, my attitude sucks right now, and you are correct in what you say that I won't be missed by the majority let a lone the minority. To many clicks etc. Today, sat at a table, not one person said hi as I can onto a new table. I said the usual nh's and it wasn't until I lost my chips and said nh and gl to all, did a couple say gg back and take care.

Sorry for my griping, I guess I want to much in life!

m8 it is not all you, i played on a table with 9 other players (6 of whom are on my friends list) and from start to finish i tried to talk to everyone but the only response i got was gg when i went out same as yourself.......

I'm sorry to hear that. I've tried to be extremely nice and have tried to make you feel welcomed here. I'm sorry I just can't chat away at the tables. I love to chat and have fun as much as the next person, but I kinda have to make a choice at the tables. I'm either there to be a chatter box or play poker. If I choose to be a chatter box, I'm not there very long....Not there long anyways...But I don't really know what you expect outta a poker site, but I find the ppl. here to be amazing. I gotta tell ya if you leave it's your lost. Whatever you decided best wishes!

PS...If ya come back maybe you can contribute an exciting fun thread.

Thank you Del as you are one of the good one's here.

scgirl, you are very nice as well as you have gone way above my expectations as to welcome me to this site.

I do expect to chat and play at the same time. I realise that some people whether it's there connecting/computer speed plus the fact that the chat box is poor, that it can be difficult to chat and play at the same time.

I came to this site from another because I heard from players to check it out.

I just think its gone down hill.

I'm saddened to see Dreamy's comments here.

However, they are his comments about his own experience here at OP66.

I think it's wrong to brush aside his comments without first considering why he has taken the trouble to post about his experience here......

He is a newbie, he's been here 2 months.....my first 2 months were filled with new experiences and new friends, almost daily, being added to my friends list........yes I know it was the old site and things were different but we always say that what makes us different at OP is that we consider ourselves to be a community, a family......so if we have left Dreamy on the fringes, how many other newbies are we leaving there who won't even have the bottle to come here and post a thread about it?

If I see a new face in a tourney, I try to say hello, nh etc and make them feel part of the game, if they respond great, if not, that's ok too. I'll even go to their page and leave a welcome message which usually reads....welcome to our family, hope you have fun.....hmmmm, not sure about that message now.....

I truly hope Dreamy doesn't leave us but more than that I hope more of us welcome the strangers who really are just our future friends

i am an old player, i have around 350 people on my friends list, i have never had a problem with getting to know people. As soon as i see a newcomer sit at these tables i ALWAYS include them in the conversation, as i'm sure dreamalot will confirm from his first night on here....
a few weeks ago, i played on my daughter-inlaws account, with her permission...i basically wanted to hide coz of how i was feeling about my dad. i played maybe 8 or 9 tourneys as her, and NOT ONE person said a word to me so sorry, but i FULLY understand what dreamalot means...this place has changed a lot, and its sad...its sad to see newcomers feeling out of place and uncomfortable, for us old ones its fine, we all laugh have a scream here, but i've seen this place from a newbies point of view, and sadly it seems so different for me now I know i'm a bit down anyway coz of whats happened recently, but nevertheless, after me raving on about how great it is here, if my daughter had've been playing for herself, i would've felt so sorry for her, i/she was just totally ignored...and it wasnt coz i was quiet, i dont know how to be quiet as you all know...i just didnt 'fit'...and that, is so sad

Awww Sally....gosh lost for words...
I know it can be horrible being new, and trying to fit in. We have all been there. I try my best to welcome the new comers, cause I don't like for anyone to feel left out, or feel that they don't belong. Cause that is a bad feelin'. But with that said I am guilty of being quite at times on the table...I really do good to get in what needs to be said on the tables...mainly cause I can't type....
Dream, if I sounded harsh I deeply apologize to you. I like you a lot and really hate to see anyone go. :/

take sometime and come on back
there are plenty of nice ppl here who enjoy chattin and havin the usual banter.. granted there are sum tools... but come find the friendly ppl and play with them..

Sorry to hear that but that is the way most are on this site. I can even myself come on a table, unless i say hi no one bothers and I have been here a long time. Unlike Sally I don't have 350 friends here but have made a few in my time. One time I said hello and received no answer so again and this time using capitals said hello again and then and only then did I receive a response.

Sometimes we don't talk a lot and other times we chat our heads off. Take some time and come back and don't take us personal. this site has it's clicks as all sites but all in all they are a good bunch but you have to speak up girl, sometimes we multitask, I know I do. give us a chance. Chat up a storm, take it from Sapphire Star, she chats all the time and couldn't care less whether we answer or not and we love her.
