Didn't know where to properly post this, but I'm feeling pretty proud of myself right now.

I made it to 54th out of 400 in a tournament. It took forever, so I kept going all in so I could go to sleep, but I kept winning.

Finally, I lost, but I'm happy.

All you pros may not think that's so great, but if you've seen me play...it's a darn miracle!!

That is all..I'm off to bed.

I never dreamed I'd make it that far. But I'd been having a lucky day, so I figured 'what the heck'. Plus, I got really lucky. Some guys kept going all in before the flop, and I finally got tired of it and called then on it. Beat one with a pair of 2's, and the other was just Ace high. What started my downfall was I had pocket queens, and one came up on the flop along with 2 jacks. I bet heavy. A king came up on the river, which finished me...andretti got it. But he was cool and said the only reason he stayed in because he'd seen trip Q's lose 3 times already.

What really irritated me was that at least 5 people on the first table kept folding before the first bet was ever made. Is that actually a normal strategy to get to the final table? That doesn't seem like much fun.

Nice going Breezy! People have all kinds of strategy when they play. I play the patience game early and get a little more agressive with each table if im so lucky to advance. Every once in a while I bet heavy early on with pocket q's, k's or even aces and still get beat. LOL, about a week ago, I was out first in two of the OP tourneys on the same day.

I try to play good cards only-problem is, what are good cards?
