when they click register a pop up box appears asking if they been invited;YES-NO, its not foolproof but will remind the genuine players that they need an invite and not to play

Ok first i agree with cuddy and see that she was havin a moan to get it off her chest, but also to TRY to prevent it happenin' again.

However there, i think, will always be an issue with the uninvited reg'ing by mistake. There's always at least 1 or 2 and they dont know until they've been seated. I know not everyone who plays

I'm not going back to read all posts again, but the genuises who suggested a mod present for removals or the vip list have it spot on.
Any of these would solve the problem right away though i think the mod solution is simpler.

I know its a pain in the ass when this does happen so a solution is needed quickly but i'd also like to say we live and learn.
If people did register out of spite or refuse to leave, which both affect the game, then yeah i would say start banning them.
But this wasnt the case here its a clearly a mistake and an apology(ies) issued.

Maybe this whole DRAMA will help get the issue sorted and we can go all go back to living in harmony like usuallly do......... AYE RIGHT!!!!!!

I don't want to upset anyone, but I do want to remind everyone that we have a lot of new players on the site. This is confusing for those of us who have been here for awhile. If I was a new player reading this thread it would not encourage me to get more involved in this site. I would feel like one mistake and I would be the object of a thread like this.
Cuddy has brought up a problem that needs to be fixed by the system and not by critisizing players who make mistakes. It will take some time to fix. Until that happens lets try to deal with those who make mistakes with a little more understanding.

I can see you mean well my friend, but this problem is happening to frequently and has nothing to do with new players. I think its being put at the top of the priority list of things that needs sorting. Its a matter of wait and see but the dust has settled so to speak and not forgetting, theres still another Four nights of the Tournament to go, so lets just see what happens. Steve.

I understand how everyone feels and no one wants to be Banned. We have rules to govern the site. These rules have no meaning if there are no disiplinary action if they are broken. I'm not saying that if you break a rule you should get 30 days in the electric chair. Use some common sense
Give a warning for 1st Offense and after that they should be Banned for a period of time. This should be enforced for all rule violations and should be enforced across the board, Newbie and Oldhead alike. This is my take on the situation. We have Mods to enforce the rules. I have seen some good suggestions made in this thread and now Lava needs to be allowed to look at these suggestions and make a decision. This has gone far enough. Can't we all just get along.

Well said Sally but I am feeling the same as Telboy. Not worth the hassel. Reaper quitting, Guv has left! Great solution so far.I get upset too and sometimes speak before I think. Maybe we should start waiting a day or so before we speak our minds.
