Default Its That Time Of Year Again

its the time of year again when we have to play that same old game we have every year...

yes you guessed it, its the heating tempreture control game,

evertime the boss(wife) walks passed it she turns it UP UP UP,so the house feels like where in the middle of the dessert on the hottest day of the year.

so everytime i walk passed it i have to turn it back down again before i get heat stroke.

anyone else have this at home ??, or are we the only ones ??

p.s

i hate winter

kev

My problem is that just like in the car. If you turn the temp up further say to 80 instead of 72 degrees from 68 degrees, it will warm up faster. Opposite as well with the ac- can't win no matter how much i explain it

Awwwwww guys, one of the benefits of living alone ok, so there aren't that many benefits but being in CONTROL of everything is one I haven't even thought of turning the heating on yet and still throwing duvet off in the night......hee hee guess I am just HOT

I live in the desert and it gets COLD out her in the winter. Everybody likes a different temp. so I bought these control registers made by "Acutherm". you can set the desired temp for each room and they open and close by themselfs..Life is good again...

With the cost being so high, it is tough to turn on the heat very high. It is better to wear a sweater.

my hubby always turns it down but then makes out hes being nice and tells me to have a lie down on the sofa and relax then gives me a blanket as if hes being caring all so he can turn the heating down it'd be a lot less hassle if he just left it alone in the first place
