Roach has done a good job with Khan, who I've always thought has been over-hyped and over-rated! He fought well tonight but I still think that there are some doubts as to whether Khan will be able to handle the big punches. Kotelnik isn't a renowned puncher and a few of his puches did get Khan rocking, until he goes head-to-head with a big puncher I still feel the jury's out on him. No matter how good your coach is, and Khan has got the best in Roach, if you can't take the big punches your gonna struggle. But fair play to Khan, he did what he had to do and controlled the fight throughout. I want to see Khan do well but I still have my doubts over him, need to get a fight arranged with a big puncher and see how he handles it!

Prescott is a big puncher as shown by his record, tarnished a little with his defeat last night, but look what happened. No matter what Roach does with Khan's technique and concentration, it could only take a split second and one big punch for Khan to go down. If he can take the punches, he will do well, but that is a question yet to be answered by the last three fights since Prescott!

Notice he had to wait before Kotelnik was declared (un)fit enough to face him... if Kotelnik had a chance of beating Khan, the fight would not have been made- it was a no-brainer as to who would win.

I would say the last night's fight was his first real challenge, as it went 12 rounds (first time in his career methinks) he has to prove he can go the distance more often and against bigger hitters like hatton, cotto, mosley etc.

Since his defeat against prescott, ppl have been saying tht he hasn't got the chin- he was fine against kotelnik as he was slow and not exactly the biggest hitter he ever faced, but he must develop tht chin to stand up to the "big hitters".

All tht aside, he did fight well, quick handed and footed, and has shown real potential in the past year or so- he's improved fight after fight (seemingly) and has one o th best coaches ever! He could go far, if only for the chin...
