The most "disturbing" films ever?

Hi Everyone,
I'm currently doing some research and I thought I would ask everyone what their top 5 most disturbing films ever are. Disturbing could mean psychological content, gore etc - whatever affects you the most. Mine are:

1 Salo (this film defines disturbance!)
2 Cannibal Holocaust (turns you into a vegetarian)
3 August Underground's Mordum (A plain sick gorefest)
4 Nekromantic (The name speaks for itself)
5 The War Zone (Depressingly gloomy, and full of incest)

and i hate to say it 'The Original Evil Dead' shown in Glasgow in 1982 when a special effects guy came from the States to show us how the stunts were done...

I think "The Hills Have Eyes" is pretty disturbing and random......it freaked me out!

Most war films are hard to watch, for me Black Hawk Down is one of the most disturbing, especially knowing it was based on true events.

How about the "Faces of Death" series? Or do documentaries not count?

Yes docs would count - Faces of Death I've been wanting to see. I`ll have to try and find it. Another good doc is "Night and Fog" about the holocaust (real footage), made in the fifties I think.

yes, it is part of the three..extremes. again, havent seen it, but friend told me about it being very very crazy, and also reading about it makes me poop my pants. yeah, war movies are always gory, but i think also movies like Kids and 13 are pretty disturbing bc they are social commentaries on an issue that is very disturbing...also, let me give a big HAHAHAHA for all those people who are answering with mrs doubtfire, whitechicks, etc...you are all truly comedians in your own right...but i think this thread was started with serious intent...but hey, who am i to moderate you? peace

Funny games (the original if possible, not the recent remake)

Eraserhead (saw it very long ago, so would have to check again)

The last 15 minutes of Requiem for a dream.
