Been overseas a few times but the best time i had was driving to Uluru (right in the centre of Australia), and Kings Canyon. Never realised it was so huge till i was halfway up. Theres a point on it called chicken rock, and i can see why its called that, it's not really that far up but from then u gotta climb a small section with nothing to hold on to, so u either keep climbing or crawl back down. Also u realise how big it is when u go for a walk around it, bloody 7 kms.
