Hi,

So, Im not sure who knows what etc etc butill tell you all so you all know why im so f**ked off at the mo

Last month I split up with my mrs of a few years, and thought everything was fine,

I have since realised that all isnt ok, I now owe 28k on a credit card and haven't paid my mortgage for over 6 months - none of this i was aware of as i didnt deal with any of that she did!

After meetings all of today I now have a plan to pay everything off and then persue this through my soliciter.

Ive now had to put my car up for sale my flat and borrow money off my parents to clear everything.

Just goes to prove that money dosent make up for everything.You might think you have real love but not always the case,

Im agrre this isnt the normal post you would find o here but it helps me come to terms with everything.

Luckly for me i still own another house so im not totally screwed but hey if i didnt i would now be almost bankrupt.

Im sorry if i have been rude or off with anyone but ive just been shocked by all of this!

I had some bad financial news myself today and was feeling really P******d , but after reading your post it put my situation into perspective. I'm really sorry to hear your news, but if it's any consolation I have had to recover from a few financial situations over the years, at the time when you are going through it it seems like a dark cloud is hanging over you and there is no light at the end of the tunnel.

All I can say is hang in there , because you will emerge a stronger person. I hope you manage to sort things out. Jock

I really think that from this Im going to learn a lot of lessons,

Please be aware im not looking for any simpothy from this;

1, I shouldn't aim higher than I can actuallt hit,
2, Dont trust anyone with your money,
3, Dont assume cause someone has said they;v done it that they have,
4, Dont agree to something cause you love them,
5, Dont try to be someone your not, it doesnt work !

To put it in poker terms ive been from a royal flush to a high card this week and ive really learnt a lot, be it that i now have to start from the bottom again, I AM GOING TO get there again, IM GOING to be something I havent been for a long time,

Another thing that makes me laugh over this I've lost what i thouhgt were good friends, but not to worry cause im going to emerge from this a lot stronger and a lot more clever!!

Craig my first wife did same..very similar story..we shud have a beer and swap stories..credit cards and unpaid bills etc
Just focus on whats still good in ya life its all ya can do..things will work out maybe not in the short term but keep ya chin up,hard i know..can lend an ear if you ever need one mate
