Multiple Accts.

I have been informed by many players from the other site, that they have multiple accounts. Apparently there is no rules against that, yet we share tables with them. I even witnessed a player passing chips to themselves on a table to balance out their accounts.

So, what, if anything, is going to be done about this?

Is this fair to the op66 players?

Do you have a problem with other players having multiple accounts?

Should we be allowed to have multiple accounts?

OP66 Nation, I ask you, what are your thoughts on this matter?

That is definitely unfair to the OP66 players, as they obviously have an unfair advantage.

I think that's a pretty big deal, and if we have to be joined with a different site it should be one with similar rules.

I don't think we need to be allowed to have multiple, we can beat them without cheating but it should be brought up and maybe something can be done about it.

I'd hope so cause I would hate to be losing only because my opponents are cheating.

Well I'm sure it's not something Lava is gonna put up with, so I would write a post in the tech thread and let em know there.
Note down anyone's name that you know has multiple accounts and pass it on to tech as well, surely that'll filter them out more easily???

well as long as they are not playing against themselves.. then i dont see that they are getting any advantage

i know players from there that have multiple accounts and they are not using them to cheat.. so dont know.. but if it is possible for ppl to cheat then im sure that someone will

I'm not sure whether multiple accounts are bad or not, I used to have four on the go; ntm obviously, also firemonkey, mutley and michaelk. For some reason when i first started playing the server wouldnt give me free chips after a while so i would log in with 1 of my alter ego's, when that id had won plenty i would find an empty table log in 2 id's and hand the others chips over to firemonkey as that was my main playing name at the time.

I noticed that some players using multiple accounts would play both id's on the same table thus giving them some unfair leverage in the game, although i never did. When i got better at playing and didn't really need to keep resetting chips i informed the mods about my other accounts and had them deleted.

Well, Ive had royalty respond to this thread. But its been 2, count em, 2 weeks and have yet to see a mod or anyone else with some authority around here respond.

Im still seein all kinds of peeps with multiple accts floatin around the site and aint nothing been done. Soooo, I guess its ok then.

Dont no one get mad now when ur at a table with 6 SandzSizzles and I take ur bankroll.

OP66 is working with the other sites to address the problem in hopes of keeping the accounts similiar to OP66.

Sorry Bass, its nothin personal to u or any of the other mods. I just find it a bit frustrating sometimes when actual poker matters get missed.

But I fully understand that it happens.

No worries, I take very few things here personal. Blacklava is working hard to get the new site very much like the old one but there are more sites and people involved, which makes things take a little bit longer to be completed.

i have to say this is the first time i have seen this thread..

if you have something really important to bring up why not also send a PM to a mod..

then we can ensure that its gets consideration,its the first i knew others were allowed multiple acounts

they are not allowed multi accs, they just do it. and some get caught and some dont

I think there is also another phenomenon. Players on other sites that we link up with have now got OP66 accounts but have not relinquished the other site accounts. It is not inconcievable that some are logged in via various access sites and playing at the same table.

It all looks dodgie to me, even in the big tourneys I've seen weird things happen. A lot of new names playing in them, nice if they've joined us but with how many names and when we play the OP66 big tourneys can people for the other sites just join the game ? again with multiple accounts.

I don't know if there was a question in there or not RockDivaD but if you were asking if the other players from the other sites could join in the tourneys, the answer is yes. I must think that at some point the sites will merge and share IP databases if this site is to successful.

they also claim they can have multiple accounts and no one cares but this is just wot i hav heard

I have seen this too, and more times I wouldnt really care if they kept it to themselves. But the blatant braggin about "I got this many mils in this acct. and that many mils in that acct." is startin to pee me off.

Hence, the creation of this thread.

yeah it is annoyin coz i was told tht i had multiple accounts whichis against our rules but i didnt knw so had to get one deleted but they hav many accounts with millions in each
