Just treat her how you would like to be treated, never go to bed on a argument. And remember that just because youve got married doesnt mean you dont have to woo her anymore.

OK I don't qualify in anyway as "advice from the ladies" but the guys have some good input, through our own experiences.....

I will pass along some sage advice I received, on that first morning after you are married, you are going to wake up and wonder, where the heck am I? Then you will see you bride laying there and remember how wonderful it is to be together (never forget that m8) and you will be overwhelmed with the thought "Hey, I can wake her up and she will go make me coffee".

FIGHT that thought!!!! Get up yourself, go make the coffee and while it's brewing brush your teeth. Fix the coffee, or tea and deliver it to your bride. Let the smell wake her up.

That's the way to start out the first day...it's all on you from there.

Cody, Congratulations. There is only one piece of advice that you need. In any discussion make sure you always get the last words and those words are "Yes Dear". I have been married for over 37 years (to the same women). Any time I mention that to someone my wife adds that she has been happily married for 5 years. I am afraid to ask which five.

Seriously - I think the key is to listen to her. Don't keep things bottled up inside yourself and SHARE the good times and the bad. Guess you call it communication.

The only advice I give you my friend is at least once a day put your arms around your beautiful wife and give her a hug for no reason at all .... do it everyday of your life together ...

ok, somebody asked this before and i'm trying to remember the same advice i gave then.

1. all those sweet little gestures you make, breakfast in bed, the i love you's just cos you do, lunches or dinners at random, these all get you a few brownie points one at a time. no matter how many brownie points you think you have, just one major f##k up on your behalf and she'll take back every single one in one go.
2. if you find yourself going home from work with a bunch of flowers you're in the deepest of s##t. trust me it doesn't get any deeper and no amount of flowers are going to help you now.
3. when you's have saved up all year to buy that really natty dining suite she set her heart on, if she comes home and finds you've spent all the money on a bren gun and sand bags and built a machine gun emplacement in your living room to complete your world war two collection she's gonna be madder than hell.
