new players needed

i know we have all had our moans and groans since we changed over here and there are lots of improvements that still need doing im sure lava is doing his best,one way to help is to get friends to join us ,i have got three players to sign up here in the last 6 months if we all could find just one more player im sure this would help the site we all love,i peronaly cant offer anything as a reward and dont think the site can either but the reward will be to see our site grow and recover more quickly than it is know lets get out there and spread the word

I introduced a friend from work (MUIRINO) he won the ultra outlaws on Saturday, followed it up with winning the Outlaws, and last night came 2nd in a freeze out and already has $29 in his account. Not a bad start eh

Good idea,just looked an we have over a 100k an growing.
but less than a hundred active in forum in last 24hrs.
think we need a way to bring people into the forum to see whats going on in here.like outlaws an the new one lava got coming soon.at present with the download we can go straight to the tables without going anywhere near the forum.
even then you have to go to your account,then the open forum to reach here.anyway to log in to the forum first,then go to the tables people will see whats going on then.but i will try to recruit anyway.

Reintroduce chat on the tables thats how we got a lot of new players sure we would do the same again.

I try to keep most of the people I know away from the sites I'm on regularly because I've had issues where I've said something and someone took it the wrong way, and it caused a lot of unnecessary stress.

One friend says he can't get into the site, but he's an idiot when it comes to computers, so it may be another year before he makes it.

As most of you know, my best friend chuckster got me to join, and I've tried to get my boyfriend to join, but he's a bit strange. He says he feels left out when chuck and I talk about this site, but won't join because he says he plays poker to play poker, not to socialize. Huh??

But Im glad you joined,I can only introduce certain friends to this site,only the ones who can take a joke or laugh with me.I know I am a little rough around the edges and most do not share my sense of humour.So it wouldnt do me any good to invite more,as I would probably them off in the forum somehow

Some time back I introduced 2 friends, and one of those introduced another 3 which was great. On the down side (sorry to be a party pooper) 2 of them gave up on the site because the increase in the amount of stupid playing drove them away.

but here is his closing paragraph
Again : I know many could see that as a bad move due to needed updates on poker tables but we have no control there as those are network sided fixes, I'm just asking for changes and trying to enforce the best scheduling for us. We have and need to spend time on finding more people to play here.

Ok thats fine and i will like always try and encourage people to play and STAY here but come on we cant do it all
. We need some encouragement and ways to do it (friends and family are fine but i hate playing them)
and how come thats posted in outlaws thread how about the rest of the site that joined for poker not for a RPG game or a bingo freeroll so dont go there.

Crikes people are coming up with all sorts of ideas without support from the powers that be first party i didnt even get the bleeding tshirt come on Lava pull whatever force youve got we will support you

It's ok hun, at least I have something to do while I'm stuck at the house, and it could be worse. I could be addicted to that silly crap Scotty is addicted to.....stalker!!

And yes, you would piss off a lot of people (you already do ). I get your sense of humor, but it doesn't come out the same when you type it as when you say it.

I did spend the night recently with a good friend of mine, great card player (bridge, some local games) and absolute gentleman who is picking up poker further.

I showed him different places where I play. We even made a bit of money (around 20$) despite our heavy drunkedness.

As I explained him about our beloved OP66, he said he will join, which he will likely do... except that he is tremendously busy professionally.

If you see a "JackPalmer" come in, well that's probably him (unless the nick already exists) and he will definitely be a great addition to the site.

And if he does take a bit of time to further study, he will become dangerous soon. Potentially quite so.

with ya on that tel.....but the whole reason i joined here is none of my local friends like to play or know how to play holem... but im workin on that. talk to people bout it at work and would love to talk in laws into joinin........but i gotta make sure they read the chat and forum rules first
