Default New tournament

This is the third or fourth time that this NEW YORK Tournament has been cancelled, its not right or fair to do this, I look forward to playing this tourney because its on at a perfect time for the USA players. The other ones are bit more difficult for me to play because of time. Today we had 19 players register, with me it would have been at least, 2 full tables. Can anyone tell me how many players are needed and why that many. THANK YOU

correction Ducks ... need 20 people by 5 minutes before starting time , as that is when it seats people and if there is not 20 at that point , it cancels tournament

On almost all occasions in our tournaments you get six or seven late regs, these games would not be cancelled if everyone registered on time, it's as simple as that. For me to play in this tourney I have to stay up till 2.00am, last night I registered an hour before start time then sat to wait. When it was cancelled I just went to bed but I knew at least six players would try to register after time and be disappointed. There must be a lesson there somewhere.

Yep fully agree fred, same thing happens in wombats, if you get 20 to register with 5mins to start, ends up 28-30 playing. the lesson is make sure you register at least 10mins before tourney start time, surely not a lot to ask.
