Problems problems problems!!

I'm sure i'm not the only one sick of the site crashin and freezin and not workin!! I'v lost so many chips by gettin froze outa games and nothin is bein done.. The site closes for maintenance but seems 10x worse wen its back up n runnin!! So i thought i'd start a thread where you can all put yer complaints, cuz i hear enough of you's complainin on the tables, i'v been told these threads get read every now n then so if enough ppl put ther view across sumthin mite actually be done!!

There are enough threads like this one. I am closing it. If you are having technical problems, read the STICKIED threads in the TECHNICAL ZONE, and follow ALL procedures given there. If you continue having problems after ALL fixes are tried, then post in the TECHNICAL forum, giving all pertenent information about your computer system, and a detailed description of your problem

it has been worse the last week but all in all THIS site more than makes up 4 its problems with the friendly people on it!!! & remember we are getting 2 play n use it 4 free

Yer the ppl are very friendly, i'm not sayin they're not, but this site has too many problems, especially seen as its down for maintenance almost every day!! And yes, it is free.. But thats besides the point, ppl come here to play poker but get froze out all the time, i'm sure i cant be the only 1..? All i'm tryin to do is help get it sorted.. Thnx for your reply tho

I agree with Lauz. I am often being folded, the site crashes, freezes or what ever, at least once a night, and yes i have mentioned it on the forum before but nothing seems to be done about it and I know im not the only one. So could some one please offer either a solution or an explanation. Everything i have is up to date, every other site i ever visit is fine and this is the only site i ever have a problem with so its got nothing to do with my system or set up......

I would like to add that No this site is not free if you play for money, which is something i have considered doing but there is no way I am going to simply waste money when the site crashes or folds me this often. I understand that all sites have server problems and maintenance problems from time to time but this site seems to have far to many would you not agree?

And as far as friendly people go, yes there are alot of good friendly people on this site and you can have a good chat and a laugh etc, but there are also alot of abusive bigots as well who attempt to spoil games for good honest poker players with there bigoted right wing views and foul abuse of other players.
What is being done about this. I understand from another concerned player who was told on this forum, that you can turn of chat with that person, but is that not simply indirectly condoning what they are saying. Out of sight out of mind.....

This is a great site for poker dont get me wrong but i strongy believe that these issues need to be addressed as the vial abuse is not fair on the good people who just want to play poker and the crashing and folding etc is frustrating for everyone including money players....

yer thats jus another 1 of the many problems on this site.. there is loads of poker sites out there but out of the ones i've seen this one has gotta be the best.. its jus a shame about the problems ruining it! if these problems were sorted this site would be excellent! its jus so easy to use, theres no download needed and 90% of the people on here are decent.. but you get yer idiots everywhere n this site wouldn't be normal if it didn't have a few lol

Hmmm... well, I can't belive I'm about to say it, but it's SOOOO much better than it was. It is getting better and better, I still don't like the new script much but hell, I don't miss the monster lags we got on the last one... which would be a daily occurrence, tournaments so slow and full of bugs it was just horrendous. I lost 1000s to being folded out with winning hands all the time on the old script, oh... and does anyone remember the ALL IN/FOLD? Call the all in raise, it took all ya chips, but folded ya! And as for abusive people, I agree, I would like to see better ways of dealing with the table abuse. Some get ridiculous, but in the real world, some of the top pro's are abusive bigoted ****s. It's a tactic, I guess?

better than the old script??!! jeez.. i'm so glad i wernt about wen the old script was up lol n this site DOES have lags.. so many of them!! the tables are slow.. the tourny's and sit n go's are super slow!! like i said before.. with the amount of times this site is down for maintenance it SHOULD NOT be as bad as it is! it gets so stressful lol gud job there is nice ppl to talk to to relieve the stress lmao

I agree with you 100 percent Lauz. Something has got to be done about these bugs for as many times as this site has been down lately getting worked on. I am sure I'm not the only one who still has major lag when trying to chat on the tables. It still takes forever and a day to be able to type anything. LOL, hard to socialize at the tables with that much lag of the chat. I also never have that problem on any other site. Also, as I have heard many a people talk about lately WHAT IS WITH THIS STUPID EVEN MORE WINDOWS UP NOW WHEN YOU ENTER A TOURNY. Say your playing two tournys at once you now have four different windows and two of them are just ones that show you how many are left(granted it lags behind a lot so is rather useless). I liked the tab tourny info a lot better and guess what it actually worked. I love the people on this site, so many great ones I like a lot of others just want the bugs fixed so we can play our favorite game in peace.

thnx chips i think its kinda obvious we're all havin the same problems now.. so hopefully sumthin will be done soon if we all jus keep on at um they cant ignore it forever lol i'm sure they're tryin ther bes to sort the problem as they are down for maintenance loads!

Well I kind of agree and don't. PJ is right, the old site was shocking. I wished the only thing that lagged back then was the chat. I'm no expert but I would assume that if the server is offline due to maintenance, when it's finally online it is bombarded with 100's of people trying to log in at once, that can make any machine run slower. My opinion is that some players have certain problems because of the connection they themselves have, the cheaper you pay for your internet the worse this site runs. I am at times not able to enter a tourney but it's only a matter of logging out and back in and I am right to go. Chat lag is the biggest issue but hey we have our profile pages and the chat room to help us keep in touch, what other sites supply that????
In conclusion, this new site is still a baby and in order to improve the problems, those problems have to be found and then cured. I doubt Lava and all the people that help make this site what it is have 24 hours in a day to play every tournament, every ring table and every sit n go to find all the bugs. I take my hat off to them for the work they do already. I mean yeah the bugs exist but the games are still playable.
