1968,, just after seeing frank sinatra, with my first wife,at the sands hotel in las vegas, i went to the crap tables and started playing the big 6 and eight for 100 bucks each, and pushed after each hit. i was a little boozed up at the time so i was betting more than i would if i was sobber.

i hit 14 of them before the shooter sevened out,,, not sure of the exact amount,, but it was around 3500.

a new shooter got the dice and i started playing the pass line now along with the big eight and six but i went back to 100 each and pass line 100 also..

well to make a long story ,,short i won almost 12 grand in that hour and my wife was in total shock...


the sands gave us a suite and a 4lb lobster and french wine dinner. it was like being the king and queen for a day.

never went back to the sands tables after that night. we were staying at the dunes hotel and the word got back to the owners of the dunes,, we were upgraded to a mini suite and given free room service..

they wanted some of that 12 big ones,,hahahahahaha

well i also won 700 dollars there ,, not plying craps but blackjack for green chips ($25) lol nice and slow...


what a 4 day holiday that was.... we saw all the shows for free,, and free food and booze and free room too. and my wife was given (comp) a small gold and diamond bracelet.worth around 400 bucks.

i bet on the football each week. i normally do an accumulator. say pick 5 matches, and predict for each match either home win, away win or draw. had a really good win about 10 years ago, one day did a 7 match accumulator with a £5 stake, won about £650 ($1000). since then i have had a few £200 wins and quite a few wins of around £100. just gives the footie results on a saturday afternoon a little more interest...

roulette......before every spin of the wheel I bet $5 on red and $5 on black and drink free alcohol all night......only paying $10 to the casino when the ball lands on zero or double zero.........usually costs me only $10 to get nice buzz going........plus tips to the server of course.......
