just a quick message 2 let all my friends etc know why i have not bin on line, i have had the worst news one of my best friends has had a problem with stomach acid 4 nearly 2 years and been in and out of hospital and after the doctors have diagnosed his problem wrong 4 so long he has gradually deteriated and lost about 2 stone in weight.2 weeks ago they kept him in hospital 2 get 2 the bottom of whats wrong and discovered he has a cacerous tumor which has gone unnoticed i have been visiting him and 2 days ago found out through i biopsy that the cancer has spread and cannot b removed i am finding it hard 2 cope as he is only 24 and one of the nicest guys you could ever meet this is a time when maybe we should all respect how lucky we are and live for today and not tomorrow.BYE FOR NOW I WILL B BACK WHEN I GET MY HEAD OUT OF MY

Sorry to hear ur bad news....yes many people go so young..n its dosnt seem fare to the people who luv them...i hope u fell better soon i know its hard ....as my son lost a friend at that age...n its something u dont expect at that age....n my twin sister died 8 yrs ago now....but we all have happy memories to treasure of the people we have lost....all the best hun .....thinking of u and his family at this sad time......xxxxx

he's been a fantastic friend to us both Maudy, thanks to all of you for your kind words, at the moe i'm just tryin to get my head round how this can happen to such a nice lad, he's only 24, i seem to spend most my time crying, a part of me has been taken away and i don't think i'll ever get it back.

I lost a friend about 7 years ago to a brain tumor, he was only 21 at the time, still hurts to think about him.

So sorry to hear the bad news. He is lucky to have a friend like you. I hear tales of misdiagnosis like this time after time. Why does it keep on happening when medicine is supposed to have made such advances?

Certainly puts all our whinges & moans about online poker into perspective , When an "oldie " goes ,then its always bad , but thats the nature of things , over the years I`ve been to my mates parents funerals , and then (lately ) mates funerals , but when its time for a youngster ,it just seems so unfair , nothing anyone can say or do , Just let your mates family know how much he /she meant to you ,and NEVER FORGET
