| Is this man not a JOKE! in the aftermath of the John Terry/Anton Ferdinand racism enquiry, Sepp Blatter commented that racist issues or incidents should be resolved with "a handshake on the pitch" Surely this underminement of such a serious problem should not be tolerated by anyone, never mind a figure of such high authority within football. In my opinion, this ignorant comment makes him just as bad as the racists Your thoughts??

| Before this latest incident I thought Sepp Blatter was a joke and couldn't understand how he still held such a powerful position. However, in this incident a lot of what he said is being taken out of context and misquoted. I listened to a John Barnes interview yesterday (wish I could find a link) he talked a lot of sense about racism not being a football problem but a society problem and it would not go away for generations - education being the only solution. He also said Blatter was getting a rough deal and agreed with most of what he said. Realistically no-one, not even Blatter, thinks racial comments or incidents can be resolved with a handshake.
