Posting this in honor of all the fallen, all the brave men and women who helped that day and for the many days after. This tragedy may have happened in the United States but it was "felt" all over the world. So on Sept 11th, honor those, by flying ur country's flag, strong and proud. UNITED WE STAND

I think it's safe to say that no matter where you are in the world. Today symbolises the strength and bravery men and women shared on that horrific day. We won't be defeated and we'll never go down without a fight.
All the people that lost their lives are in my thoughts today. May you rest in peace.

Never have I cried so much, or felt so much anger in my life.

I remember it was a sunny day in Glasgow much like it is today. I was sitting in George Square chatting to a friend that I had not seen for several months, oblivious to what was happening in New York. The look of horror on the faces of work colleages when I walked back into the office told me that something very serious had occoured. Little did I know how bad it was ....

Without any doubt there has been no event in my lifetime that has shocked me to the core quite the way 911 did. I can only echo the sentements of the above posts , and hope to God that nothing like this ever happens again.

Watching from afar the whole spectacle Was truly horrifying, to have actually been there is beyond my comprehension.

I will always remember that day..... coming home from work and putting tv on, i thought i had caught the start of a 'film' when the images were being shown and then the announcement from BBC came on to say 'this is being brought live via satelite'..... i have never burst into tears so readily in my life, and i send my love and thoughts to the families of this atrocity, both in the act itself, and those who lost their lives in rescue bids. The memories of all who have been lost, will never be forgotten.
We will all stay strong, and we will not be beaten, no matter where we are in the world... we are UNITED. xxxx
