Default so u young people think twice

when u see old people out and about remember this getting old is the most terrible years of your life your body aches with pain when u get sick takes 3 times longer to get well even getting out of bed is a slow and easy your eyes hearing starts fading your hair goes grey and falls out u grow hair out of your ears longer than hair on your head your skin rinkles u get a sleep disorder because u got to go to toilet every 3 hours because your bladder is very weak u see the doctor more and more your family and friends start passing on funerals get more and more u start forget things alot so u young people give those oldies the most respect u can give them your seat on train or bus because one day you will be one of us .im the youngest in my family hope im not left when all my sisters and brothers pass away .so dont treat us oldies like were different when walking down street u see old person say gooday m8 how u going ..

Us old gits should stick together mate. The young 'uns would learn nothing about serious things if we old sods didn't show them the way. I think I'll start an old codgers group on here, anybody interested in joining.

now i'd consider myself a midle aged man but i think on this 1 iv got to step in a stick up for the youngens as i must say (IN MY EXPERINCE) its the teenagers and young adults that do seem to have far more manners than the older generation i find your far more likly to be barged out the way tutted at or sworn at by the older members of the comunaty than by the younger ones as a man with very young kids it is the teenagers that will ofer to help hold a door and even acnolege that my kids are there and speek to then yet the oldens will blank them and seem to think that the rest of us owe them our respect and should be let to get on with whatever thay want wheres in my eyes respect needs to be erned not given out to some old grumpy sod that wont do sod all for anyone just because hes gone a fuw more years with out dieing

I love peeps of all ages as they all add special moments to my life. I belong to a volunteer group that visits and helps our seniors and I have made many life-time senior friends. The latest one I was helping, I managed to get her involved in a senior center, now I have to make appointments to see her lol. And I cook dinner a couple times a week for my 65-year old neighbor who lost his wife a while back. His lovely appreciation and lovely stories are among the best. Age is irrelevant when it comes to people in your life. If we treat all with the respect they are due, we get it back ten fold. Sorry if this post is a wee bit sappy, but I am a true sap.

As we get older, the grumpy stage comes out in us all! Why things aren;t the same as they used to be , rose coloured specs you might say........ not all the time. I've spoken to people in the street and been stared at for daring to speak, tough world for them.

The world is as nice as you can make it, the language is the problem I believe , phrases us oldens use don't seem to travel to the young anymore.

All I can recall my mother saying when she was alive was " wouldn't it be nice if someone would just say HELLO or smile " Older people feel loneliness much more than the young, most of their family and friends have either died or moved away ........so just a few moments to say hello would be appreciated by many I'm sure.

thank you sapphire for your help in the community.

Hello to all the older ones on here.
I never realised until recently just how many there are here.
Maybe that's why I keep losing lol
Have a nice day.
