Cuddy, my thoughts and prayers are still with you. I hope all turns out ok.

I want to tell you about a similar issue I had with one of my cats and I hope it helps you out.

About 5 months ago, my youngest cat Lucifur was diagnosed with a liver disease. One vet told us to set a date and to prepare my family to have him put to sleep. He's only 5 years old and the most lovable and precious cat you could ever imagine (unless you were a squirrel). We refused to accept it and not only took him to another vet, but researched his disease for hours online. We force fed him for months and bought several natural remedies suggested by online people with cats that had survived the same disease he had. Not sure what actually worked, but I'm pretty sure it was the love we gave him and also his will to live.

It took almost 4 months to get the weight back on him and his hair to grow back. But now he is back to being his normal self, though a bit more spoiled because we gave him anything he would eat or drink, so he now thinks he should have milk every time we walk in the kitchen.

My point being is never give up! I'm sure that you will have many more happy years together. xxxx
