The Greater Bilby, the lesser Bilby became extinct in the 1950's, is a great burrower digging a spiral- like burrow to make it hard for predators to get to his nest. Also called the Dalgyte, or Pinkie.

The woodlouse is not an insect but a crustacean, that has 14 parts to its body, which gives the woodlouse the flexibility to be able to curl into a ball to protect itself from danger. The woodlouse is found in dark, damp places in forests and jungles throughout the world.

Yaks secrete a special sticky substance in their sweat which helps keep their under-hair matted and acts as extra insulation. This secretion is used in traditional Nepalese medicine.

Adult pandas produce 11 distinct sounds, such as chirps to promote social contact, honks to indicate mild distress and barks to indicate aggression.
these sounds can often be heard at a poker table

Termites are herbivorous animals meaning that they only eat organic plant matter. Termites eat a mixture of plants, grasses and woods and some termites are known to pose a major problem to wooden houses as they eat their way through the wood, often causing structural damage.

Chinchilla's, a relative to the Viscacha are named after the Chincha people of the Andes. They use urine sprayed at predators for defence.

Sloths have long, sharp claws which they use to get good grip when they are climbing trees or hanging from branches. The sloth is a slow moving animal, and their long claws are the only form of defence that the sloth has. Sloths attack predators or threats by swiping at them with their claws out. Sloths are prey upon by jaguars, large birds of prey, snakes and humans.

Bats are present throughout most of the world and perform vital ecological roles such as pollinating flowers and dispersing fruit seeds. Many tropical plant species depend entirely on bats for the distribution of their seeds.

I know this animal lol

The kangaroo is a marsupial that is indigenous to Australia and and the Indonesian island of New Guinea.
Kangaroos have a deep pouch on their front in which to carry their young. A baby kangaroo is called a joey.
Kangaroos have large, flat feet which the kangaroos use in order to aid their movement which the kangaroos do by hopping. Despite the fact that kangaroos do not move about in the conventional way, kangaroos can often be seen running at high speeds, generally when the kangaroo is scared or being chased by oncoming predators.
The kangaroo is the national animal and emblem of Australia.

Vulture stomach acid is exceptionally corrosive, allowing them to safely digest putrid carcasses infected with Botulinum toxin, hog cholera, and anthrax bacteria that would be lethal to other scavengers.

There are 116 species of Poison-Arrow frogs whose colors vary from bright green, red, pink or gold with darker spots and stripes. These bright colors warm potential predators, and birds which normally eat frogs, to avoid certain species... Theyr tiny

In earlier times, the Goldfinch was kept as a cagebird for its song. Escapes from captivity and deliberate releases have colonised southeastern Australia and New Zealand..

The chief distinguishing feature of the natterjack toad is the yellow stripe down its back. Shorter hind legs also tell the natterjack toad apart from the common toad and it has a tendency to run instead of hopping or walking, which is why it is sometimes called the running toad.
