The tang is a small to medium sized fish that is found in the warmer coastal waters of the tropics. Tangs are well know for their bright colours and are closely related to surgeon fish and unicorn fish.

The tuft of hair from the back of the neck, the gamsbart (chamois "beard"), is traditionally worn as a decoration on hats throughout the alpine countries.

Bull Huss
A small bull huss can look at first glance like a lesser spotted dogfish and is also known as the greater spotted dogfish. However the nasal flaps in the Huss are clearly separated and the rear of the anal fin is in line with the front of the first dorsal.

this should not be confused with a 'Hull bus' which is a means of public transport in northern England..

Pondskaters, also known as water striders have legs and body covered with tiny hairs that allow them to stay afloat, also they use the surface tension for the same reason. They are a predatory insect.
Not to be confused with sconed paters which are male parents with a lack of hair lol

Angler fish
ok..this is a good one..absolutely true..
One species of angler fish mates in a very weird way.The male bites into the females flesh and releases a substance that fuses their blood vessels together. Then he slowly dissolves until only his wedding tackle is left. One female can have many of these male bits glued to her. This ensures reproduction when there might not be an available male.

Humans come in various guises, good looking ones, usually blonde, ugly ones usually Russian and female, and ordinary ones like most of us. They have a tendency to start wars for very little reason then keep shoving the dozy plebs to the front to get killed. Not the most intelligent of species.

Cockroaches leave chemical trails in their feces as well as emitting airborne pheromones for swarming and mating

As a result of their size,(2 - 3 metres long and around 75kgs in weight) these lizards dominate the ecosystems in which they live.[7] Although Komodo dragons eat mostly carrion, they will also hunt and ambush prey including invertebrates, birds, and mammals.

There are two main species of gopher, the pocket gopher and the Richardsons ground squirrel, both of these species of gopher are found in North America. The gopher is a small squirrel-like rodent which lives in burrows underground.
The gopher is a true hoarding mammal as the gopher stores the food that the gopher finds in its cheek pouches before taking the food back to the gopher burrow, where the gophers are known to collect astonishing amounts of food.

hes cute too

The Drever is a Swedish breed of hunting hound, not usually found as a pet. Roe deer are nervous quarry, and the hounds which are used to hunt them must move slowly, especially in areas where heavy snow can be expected in late autumn. This is given as the reason for breeding a dog with a medium-sized body but short legs..

The platypus, specifically the Duck-Billed Platypus, is indigenous to eastern Australia and Tasmania, with the platypus being one of the only mammals that lays eggs (the only other mammal that does lay eggs is the echidna) as mammals generally give birth to live young.

The platypus is known to have extremely weird characteristics such as egg-laying, otter-footed, duck-billed and beaver-tailed. The platypus also has webbed feet similar to an aquatic bird like a duck so it is no wonder than when the first European encountered the platypus, no-one would believe them about the animal they had seen.

The male platypus has a venomous spike on their back foot which contains enough poison that could cause severe pains to a human. This venomous spike is vital in the self defense of the platypus and it is believed that the venom amount increases during the breeding season, so it is also used to exert dominance. The male platypus is normally bigger than the female platypus, with the female platypus weighing an average of 1,200g.

Cassowaries have a reputation for being dangerous to people and domestic animals. During World War II American and Australian troops stationed in New Guinea were warned to steer clear of them. Many internet entries about cassowaries state that they can disembowel a human or dog with one kick, with the long second toe claw cutting the gut open.

In his book "Living Birds of the World" from 1958, Ornithologist Thomas E. Gilliard wrote;

"The inner or second of the three toes is fitted with a long, straight, murderous nail which can sever an arm or eviscerate an abdomen with ease. There are many records of natives being killed by this bird."

shih tzu (pronounced shee - tsoo)The chinese pronunciation is approximately
shirr - tsa.The name translates as Lion dog,so named because the dog was bred to resemble "the lion as depicted in traditional oriental art."
The Shih Tzu was almost completely wiped out during the Chinese Revolution. Seven males and seven females were saved, and today, all shih tzus can be traced back to one of these dogs.

The little Brazilian pygmy gecko is able to do something, that seems unbelievable to us humans.
Because of it's hydrophobic skin and notably small size, gecko can float on water and even walk on it.
The little gecko doesn't sink because of water surface tension. It uses this property of liquids just like a pondskater.
Special skin of pygmy gecko works like a waterproof jacket. It repels water.
Scientists say this ability is result of evolution - when you're so small, there's a high probability of drowning even in the smallest puddle.
Pygmy gecko species can be found in Brazil, Venezuela, Guyana, French Guiana, Suriname and Bolivia.
