New chat box is too small, need to be able to see more lines at once. Impossible to follow when you keep being brought to bottom in fast games, no time to scroll back in between.

I have just 1 suggestion when players sit out there seems to be no time limit on how long they can be gone...please limit them to a certain amount of minutes... if this was already posted I did not know as I do not want to read through all the posts all...ty

Just a couple of suggestions, no big deal though if the answer is no can do.

How about in a tourny, when it gets down to heads up, both players get seated and opposite ends of the table. I know it makes stuff all difference to the game, just thought it might be a nice minor dramatic touch, for a bit of fun.

Is there any chance the blocked chat feature could be turned off, in tourneys at least? Lots of people like to wish someone 'good luck' when they have it all on the line.

Can we ban the use of the word 'hun' !!!!!!!!!!!! (ooop's only joking)

This one might be a little complicated, especially due to the different time zones, and I think it was suggested on the previous site.

A year long tournament, with one round each month or fortnight. Each tourney has a 'points' prizefund, e.g 1000 points. Points are awarded for where you finish, e.g 1st = 100 pts, 2nd = 75 pts and so on down to 'say' 20th place.

Then for the grand final at the end of the year (or whatever period of time it runs for) each player recieves 100 chips for every 10 points they have earned throughout the competition. That determines the amount of chips they start the grand final with.

If you miss a game or two it may not matter because you always have the chance to catch up in the next one you enter, especially if you do well in it.

Yes, it would be an uneven start in the grand final, but there are lots of competitions where something similar happens, and people are still willing to give it their best shot. Also, and most importantly, it would be FUN and promote the community aspect of the site.

I would like to see some HU sng at the lower buy in tables, currently only the higher buyins have them. I have mentioned this a number of times during other discussions in the forum. Its how i got started playing the sngs as a newbie. Just take a seat and in a matter of minutes most times someone would join too. There was almost never any waiting. From there, i moved up to the multiple seat tables sngs, then onto the tourneys. Every day i make an effort to get a sng started. I post a thread, i visit tabels and announce a game is open. A number of other sng players do this too. Im a talker so i mention sngs in conversations with any other talkers at the ring tables, especially to the newbies. Let them know its fun and make a suggestion to give it a try.I know i could get more to try the sngs if there was a HU play. Not so intimidating to play a one on one, epecially with my lack of poker skills.

i agree wit stevo that chat shouldn't be banned in case of all-in...more annoying than owt

and i reckon, about S&G's, that flashy updates should occur (like the ones for freerolls) updating the status of tables tht are awaiting players to start...this should fill them up quicker and raise their awareness

Another suggestion. In my opinion the tables aren't as well laid out and simple to read as the previous site, but despite that, how about a small scrolling banner at the bottom of each table, showing the latest forum thread titles? Just like the scrolling banner idea on the last site. I realise that might worsen the table view slightly, but it might help with filling the site n go's, and it might help generate more constructive criticism here on the forum.

just as a fine point about the chat while all in :

altho i know we are all used to being able to wish gl, etc when one of our pals has their stack on the line, please remember that we are part of a much larger and more 'professional' network now, and this 'feature' has been implemented soley for security purposes. its the internet folks, ya never know what kinda idjit is sittin on the other side of the monitor.
personally, I'd like there to be a restriction on anyone not in the hand at the time. TOO many times have I seen some one screw up a hand by announcing that they folded the nuts or some other good hand when there are other players still playing. ( happened again last nite in wombats, btw )
This is the very reason, i believe, why the chat is turned off at such a pivotal time in the game, ... once someone is ALL-IN it becomes the OTHER players who must DECIDE whether or not to call.... ANY sort of 'influence' needs to be restricted.

Is it possible to have an easy way to call a Moderator.. Maybe a tab in options or part of the rebuy options, Just had an Extremely abusive player on a table, wont even attempt to repeat what was said.. His Nik was BlgDik.. That should say it all.

I tried to contact a moderator but found he was table hopping abusing people so by the time I could alert someone he was gone, Got a screen dump though, just dont how to change a Word Document screen dump into an uploadable file
